Production-Ready Legal Automation

The Automated Lawsuit Intake System

A production-grade system that reads court documents, extracts data, calculates deadlines, and pushes everything into your case management database - automatically.

📄
1. Court Document Ingested Complaints, summons, orders - any filing format
🔍
2. Data Extracted Parties, claims, case numbers, courts, amounts
📅
3. Deadlines Calculated Backward from hearing, skipping court holidays
💾
4. Pushed to Your Database Into your existing case management system

The Current Process Is Broken

Every new lawsuit arrives, and the same expensive, error-prone manual process starts over.

⏱️

1 Hour Per Case

A paralegal or attorney reads every document, manually extracts the facts, and keys everything into the system. Multiply that by 50 to 150 cases a month.

🧮

Deadline Math Is Fragile

Deadlines are counted backwards from the hearing date - skipping weekends, court holidays, and jurisdiction-specific rules. One mistake, and a motion is barred.

⚠️

Missed Data = Missed Risk

Inconsistent extraction means missed parties, misfiled claims, or overlooked counterclaim exposure. Downstream, it compounds into malpractice risk.

"Most firms are paying $150–$400 per hour for attorneys and paralegals to do work that our system can do in seconds. That's not a productivity problem - it's a systems problem."

The System

Every Filing. Every Deadline. Every Time.

We built a production-grade intake engine purpose-designed for litigation workflows. It doesn't replace your team - it replaces the 60 minutes of rote work that comes with every new filing.

  • Document parsing - Handles PDFs, scanned filings, and native court formats with high-fidelity OCR.
  • Structured extraction - Plaintiffs, defendants, causes of action, jurisdictions, amounts in controversy, and service dates.
  • Deadline calculation - Counts backward from hearing dates, respecting weekends, court holidays, and jurisdiction-specific rules.
  • Database push - Writes clean, validated records directly into your existing case management system.
  • Human-in-the-loop review - Every record surfaces for a 5–10 minute sanity check before it's final.
  • Audit trail - Full log of what was extracted, from where, and when. Ready for compliance review.

Mid-Size Litigation Firm
100+ New Cases/Month
Before the system, every new lawsuit required a paralegal to manually read the filing, extract the facts, and calculate the deadline by counting backward from the hearing date while skipping official holidays. It took roughly one hour per case - and the math was error-prone.

After deployment, that hour became 5 minutes of automated processing plus 5–10 minutes of human review. The firm reclaimed hundreds of billable hours per month and eliminated deadline-calculation errors across the board.

Built for the Standard of Care

Court filings contain privileged, sensitive, and personally identifiable information. The system is architected with that in mind.

🔒

End-to-End Encryption

All documents, extracted data, and database writes are encrypted in transit and at rest. No unencrypted data leaves your environment.

📝

Full Audit Trail

Every extraction, calculation, and write is logged with timestamps and source references - ready for malpractice or compliance review.

👤

Human-in-the-Loop

Nothing writes to production without a 5–10 minute human review window. You stay in control of what gets committed.

🏛️

Privilege-Aware

Processing respects attorney-client privilege boundaries. No document is shared with third-party training systems without explicit consent.

☁️

SOC 2-Ready Hosting

Deployed on compliant infrastructure (AWS GovCloud or your private cloud) with hardened access controls.

🛡️

Data Residency

All data stays in US-based data centers. Configurable for specific state or client requirements.

Questions We Get From Firms

How accurate is the data extraction?

On clean digital filings (PDFs from PACER, state e-filing portals), extraction accuracy runs 95–99% on structured fields like parties, amounts, and dates. Scanned or low-quality documents are flagged for human review automatically.

Every record surfaces in the review queue before it's committed - so even edge cases are caught before they hit your case management database.

What happens if the deadline calculation is wrong?

Nothing gets written without human review. The system shows its math - the hearing date, the holidays it skipped, the jurisdiction rules it applied - and your team can edit before approving. The audit trail logs exactly what was reviewed and when.

Does this replace our paralegals?

No. It replaces the 60 minutes of rote extraction work they do per case. Your paralegals still review, still make judgment calls, still handle complex filings. They just stop doing the part of the job a machine does better - and can spend that time on higher-value work.

How long does deployment take?

Standard deployment into an existing case management platform runs 2–4 weeks, including configuration for your jurisdiction's specific deadline rules, integration testing, and a parallel-run period where both systems process the same filings so you can verify accuracy before full cutover.

Which jurisdictions and courts are supported?

The system supports federal courts (PACER), most state e-filing portals, and any jurisdiction whose rules can be encoded. Deadline rules are configured per jurisdiction at deployment - we ship with the federal rules and major state defaults, then extend as needed.

Who owns the data?

You do. Completely. The custom system processes your filings and writes to your database. We don't retain, use, or train on your data. Everything is covered under a BAA-style data processing agreement.

What's the pricing model?

We offer fixed-scope deployment pricing (one-time setup + integration) and monthly managed-service retainers. Pricing is based on case volume and integration complexity. The 15-minute assessment will tell you exactly which tier fits your firm.

Every case your team intakes manually is 60 minutes they'll never get back.

In 15 minutes, we'll map your current intake process and show you exactly what the Automated Lawsuit Intake System would do for your firm.
